SleepMedic ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information across our website (sleepmedic.co) and iOS app.

Website (sleepmedic.co)

Our website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. We do not collect personal information through the website unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., email waitlist).

• Email waitlist: If you enter your email on the app coming-soon page, it is stored locally in your browser only. We do not currently transmit or store emails on any server.
• RSS feed: Our RSS feed (feed.xml) does not track subscribers.
• No third-party tracking: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics on this website. We load Google Fonts for typography.

iOS App

The SleepMedic iOS app stores all sleep data, habit logs, and settings locally on your device. Your data stays on your phone.

• HealthKit: With your permission, the app reads sleep data from Apple Health. This data is processed on-device only and never transmitted to our servers.
• AI Coaching: When you use the AI coach feature, your sleep data summary is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic/Claude) to generate personalized advice. No identifying information is included -- only anonymized sleep patterns and habit data.
• No accounts: The app does not require you to create an account. There is no login, no email collection, and no user profiles.
• No advertising: The app does not display ads and does not share data with advertisers.
• Subscriptions: Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or sell:

• Names, addresses, or phone numbers
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Browsing history
• Data from other apps

Third-party services

• GitHub Pages: Website hosting. Subject to GitHub's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts: Typography loading. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Apple App Store: App distribution and payments. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Anthropic: AI coaching responses. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. No personal data is sent.

We may update this policy as our products evolve. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
